Designate a portion of what you owe to the state to RRC.

The Children’s Promise Act tax credit, passed by the legislature and signed by the governor in 2019, provides a dollar-for-dollar tax credit for donations to RRC. An individual is allowed a tax credit of up to $2,400 filing jointly ($1,200 single) 

2024 Applications

For calendar year 2024, the Department will begin accepting applications online on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at 8:00 am central standard time.

Give all your tax liability to the State of Mississippi or a portion to Regional Rehab Center.

To qualify as an individual:

Complete the Individual Charitable Contribution Credit Applications by following the below steps.

Click the link below



>Once you click the link under the “Apply Online” tab, select “Apply for Charitable Contribution Credit”

>Select “QCO – Qualifying Charitable Organization”

>Select “Individual”

>Type in “2024” as Contribution Year 

>Click “Next”

>Enter all of your personal information 

>Click “Next”

>Select “Regional Rehabilitation Center Inc.” 

>Input Contribution amount and date 

>Click “Next” 

>Review the Information

>Click “Submit”

Once you have completed the application you will send Regional Rehab Center your check – up to $2,400 for couples filing jointly and $1,200 if filing single.

Regional Rehab will send you a copy of your receipt / thank you letter for you to send it to the Department of Revenue.

The Department of Revenue will send you an acceptance letter for you to keep for your taxes along with your RRC receipt letter. 

If you complete your application first, you will receive notification of approval within 30 days and must make your donation within 60 days of receiving approval.

If you make your donation first, you will then send in your RRC receipt to the Department of Revenue, and will receive notification of approval within 30 days
