Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy helps individuals work within their own abilities and physical capacities to perform tasks which are necessary for day-to-day life. Whether working with stroke survivors, brain injuries, autism or other neurological, degenerative, or orthopedic problems, we create custom treatment plans for each person. Assessment and treatment plans are based on each person’s goals, conditions, limitations, and personal strengths. Learning or regaining quality-of-life-enhancing tasks is a victory to be celebrated, and a joy we share together with our patients.

Everyday tasks can be easier every time.

Facilitation of personal independence through even the most routine of activities—such as feeding, dressing, bathing, and voiding—can be liberating and exciting for individuals who are gaining or regaining these skills which have been lost to a disability or injury, as well as relieving for the individuals who care for them. Improvements may be seen at home, at work, at school, in recreational settings, and social environments.
